Campaign Frameworks

Before proceeding it is important to assert that what is being analysed is not a centrally planned and organised campaign – even if the language of the text makes it seem so – but individual discourses published in the press. Still, prospective voters exposing themselves to the informational environment created by the three newspapers could potentially form a single narrative from the disparate information, even if this narrative was not the intention of any individual author. So we attempted to organise the information from 1,100 arguments into comprehensible frameworks for the two sides, in an effort to simulate the experience of a reader, who is subjected to, and has to interpret, this information, regardless of the motives of its individual authors.
